Used worldwide, the system enables medical professionals to work with confidence in the most critical environments. Behind AVIDIS is a multidisciplinary team of Prodrivers who work closely together across engineering, development, production and project management. For over a decade, they have been developing and refining AVIDIS step by step, driven by quality, reliability and continuous improvement. Years ago, Monika was working at a law firm in her home country of Lithuania, starting a promising career in criminal law. Then, when her husband moved to The Netherlands for work, she joined him. They now live close to Prodrive Technologies, where Monika works as a Legal Counsel. But getting a role like this wasn’t easy - it took years of hard work and a strong drive, to eventually get there.

Designing what doesn't exist yet
As a young kid, Sjors spent a lot of time playing with Lego and Knex and already had a great interest in mechanics. His love for building things from scratch led him to study Mechanical Engineering at TU Eindhoven. Now, he’s one of our Mechanical Engineers here at Prodrive Technologies.

It characterizes the Process Engineer who now works at our System Assembly department. When we speak of professionals with a drive, there’s no better example than Jeroen Bankers. His ambition led him from a starting engineer all the way to Production Director Assembly, responsible for 450 employees, a path that took him less than 10 years.

Placing millions of components per year while making sure they work well
At the Conventional PCB Assembly Line (CAL) millions of components are sorted, prepared, placed and soldered on PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards) using a mix of (semi)automated equipment. High on the agenda are automation of processes (production and inspection) to deal with the challenges of a steadily increasing product complexity.

Testing and programming products in our own production line
Our Test Automation department is working on the Prodrive Technologies goal of a Lights Out Factory. The electronic test system supports that goal by providing test equipment with a uniform interface and form factor, so manufacturing lines can easily be configured for the product’s needs. The test equipment includes power supplies, programming modules and measurement tools, all with a common interface to the test system. Combined with other projects, such as an in-house developed Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV), we are realizing the goal of a Lights Out Factory.

Successful project management in automotive product development
The transition from fossil fuel to renewable energy for vehicles is happening. The Power Conversion product line Vehicle Electrification is key in this transition, encompassing everything that is required to make vehicles move towards the future. From design and control of full electric HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning) systems to high speed motors supporting fuel cell applications, we are committed to make it happen.
