Electro Mechanic Technician (2 shifts)
As an Electro Mechanic Technician (2 shifts), you will be responsible for supporting and executing production activities on our machines the Komax Alpha, Powerstrip and E400 (the newest addition to our machine park).
The Komax Alpha is our most advanced fully automated cut/strip/crimp machine. It processes wires from reel to finished, crimped and sealed ends in a single cycle. The Powerstrip and E400 are cut/strip machines with a lower complexity. So, this means you will work with a varied set of equipment and see how a wire turns into a part of a finished harness.

What will you do
You will be part of a team that keeps these machines running reliably, safely and to a high quality standard. You will start with a structured onboarding: experienced colleagues and engineers will train you on each machine until you can work with them independently.
This position is open to candidates without prior experience or a degree, however experience with production machines is an advantage but not essential. We are looking for someone who is calm, precise, and focused, with the ability to perform tasks diligently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Set up and operate the Komax Alpha, Powerstrip and E400 according to work instructions and production planning
Change over machines between orders, including loading wire and terminals and changing crimp tooling
Carry out quality checks such as crimp height measurements, pull tests and visual inspections, and record the results
Spot deviations in machine behaviour or product quality early and act on them or escalate them
Do first-line troubleshooting and solve small technical problems
Follow all safety procedures and help keep the work area safe
Ensure high levels of quality and safety across all processes
Support continuous improvement initiatives
Work primarily standing in 2 shifts
