About the role
We are looking for a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer with a strong focus on PCBA and NPI. In this role, you will be responsible for the successful industrialization of PCB assemblies, ensuring that new products are seamlessly transferred from design into volume production.
You will play a key role in bridging R&D and manufacturing driving Design for Manufacturability (DFM), while securing robust, scalable, and high-quality assembly processes. Within our high-tech environment, you will lead the introduction of complex PCBA builds, optimize production readiness, and ensure that all processes meet IPC and quality standards from the start.
Additionally, you will drive continuous improvement within PCBA operations, focusing on yield, efficiency, and quality performance. You will collaborate closely with suppliers, engineering teams, and production to implement best-in-class assembly processes and ensure smooth ramp-ups.
Key responsibilities
Lead and coordinate continuous improvement initiatives on the production floor.
Drive major improvement projects within the department to enhance efficiency and quality
Collaborate with the R&D department to improve product designs for manufacturability
Actively participate in New Product Introductions (NPI), ensuring smooth transitions and efficient production processes
Be present on the floor daily, engaging with production teams to implement practical solutions
Apply project management skills to ensure improvement projects are completed effectively

What you bring
Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, and Industrial preferred).
2+ years of demonstrated experience in the field of Manufacturing Engineering.
Hands-on and proactive approach to problem-solving in a manufacturing environment.
Strong continuous improvement mindset, with experience in process optimization.
Knowledge of statistical techniques and quality control methods such as, process capability analysis, Six Sigma, capacity analysis, Overall Equipment Effectiveness, Failure Mode Effects Analysis, Plan Do Check Act etc.
Knowledge of PCBA and IPC standards
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred, with experience applying Lean principles in a production setting.
Experience working in a high-tech environment is a plus.
Project management skills, with the ability to coordinate stakeholders and ensure project success.
Comfortable with being present on the production floor and working closely with production and R&D teams.
Proficient in English (written and spoken)
