Through coaching and performance management, you create clear accountability for safety, quality, output and continuous improvement.

This is a broad and connecting role. You translate targets from the Operations Manager into a clear plan for your department. You remove structural obstacles, optimize the deployment of people, machines and materials, and ensure that daily planning is consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly manage support roles in work preparation, service engineering, Technical and First Line Support, and quality, ensuring alignment with production priorities.

  • Monitor production progress and adjust through your Team Leaders to ensure departmental output meets target.

  • Manage day-to-day execution within the department and report progress and performance to the Operations Manager.

  • Optimize the allocation of personnel, machines and materials in cooperation with the shop floor planner.

  • Coach and develop Team Leaders and support roles, including conducting performance and development reviews.

  • Drive structural quality improvements together with the quality function and strengthen quality awareness within High Complex Assembly.

  • Act as a leader in 5S and continuous improvement on the production floor.

  • Contribute to hiring, performance and development reviews, and sick leave matters for Team Leaders and support roles.

What we offer

  • Performance-based salary growth that rewards your results

  • 33 vacation days per year (including public holidays) plus additional 13 ADV days

  • Time-for-time compensation when working extra hours

  • Strong focus on personal development, supported by a tailored growth and learning plan

  • Extensive career opportunities, with progression across a wide range of functions and projects

  • A young, entrepreneurial, and innovative company culture where initiative is encouraged

  • Free access to the company gym

  • iPhone, laptop and other necessary tools to help you perform your work optimally.

  • Free lunch, dinner and healthy snacks available every day on-site

What you bring

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role, ideally including experience leading Team Leaders, Shift Leaders or in a comparable second-line leadership position.

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical or Industrial Engineering field, or an equivalent level gained through experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead through other leaders, inspire people and create accountability in a positive and productive work environment.

  • A hands-on attitude and the drive to actively solve challenges on the production floor.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to make well-considered decisions and improve departmental performance.

  • The confidence to make critical decisions when needed.

  • Excellent communication skills in English.

  • The ability to recognize and use the strengths of Team Leaders and support functions effectively.

  • A strong quality mindset and understanding of quality processes in a high-complexity assembly environment.

What sets you apart

You combine visible leadership with operational discipline. You create clarity, develop leaders and connect production with its support functions. You stay close to the floor without taking over the role of your Team Leaders, and you turn recurring issues into structural improvements that strengthen safety, quality and output.
