About the role
You will be part of a multidisciplinary project team responsible for developing mechanical solutions for high‑tech power conversion products. These products are typically subsystems or key building blocks within larger, mission‑critical systems operating under demanding conditions. Your work spans both new product development and the lifecycle management phase, where you ensure existing products remain robust, reliable, manufacturable, and compliant with evolving requirements. You will actively participate from concept design through validation, industrialization, support during series production and lifecycle management.
Key responsibilities
Design and optimize mechanical products using Siemens NX, creating detailed models, assemblies, and drawings
Convert requirements into product design, while incorporating essential design aspects like manufacturability, quality, safety, cost effectiveness and sustainability
Select components, by collaborating with multiple stakeholders such as procurement, process owners in the factory and project managers
Create test plan and test specification, perform product testing to validate performance, reliability, and compliance with regulations and standards (e.g. thermal testing, shock and vibration)
Document design choices and test results
Perform calculations and design simulations and analysis
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance during product development and production phases
Design and develop cables and harnesses using E3 software, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements
What we offer
Performance-based salary growth that rewards your results
33 vacation days per year, including public holidays
Flexible working hours
Time-for-time compensation when working extra hours
Strong focus on personal development, supported by a tailored growth and learning plan
Extensive career opportunities, with progression across a wide range of functions and projects
A young, entrepreneurial, and innovative company culture where initiative is encouraged
Free access to the company gym
Free lunch, dinner and healthy snacks available every day on-site
What you bring
Experience in mechanical engineering for high‑tech or industrial products
Familiarity with multiple manufacturing techniques, such as sheet metal fabrication, CNC milling and turning, and additive manufacturing
Proficiency in CAD software, preferably Siemens NX
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to investigate design challenges using measurement equipment, simulations, and engineering analysis tools
Effectively working in a multidisciplinary team, actively contributing to reviews and discussions
Structured and methodical in applying existing product design and development processes
Demonstrating ownership and accountability for delivered designs, with control over quality, timing, and completeness.
