About the role

As a Quality Inspector you will play a crucial role in the quality assurance of the department. You will provide support to the production team with quality related questions, assure correct handling and processing of (suspected) nonconforming goods, engaging in problem-solving and continuous improvement. You will collaborate closely with Production Quality Engineer, other Quality Inspectors and the support roles in the production department.

  • Provide first line support for quality issues within your operational department(s).

  • Review suspected goods and secure nonconforming goods.

  • Guard correct administration of nonconforming goods.

  • Assess impact and escalate blocking issues.

  • Process internal quality complaints to your department.

  • Coordinate internal containment activities.

  • Execute technical product inspections supplied by your operational department(s).

  • Trigger root cause analysis and identify improvements.

What you bring

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in inspection and handling of quality issues within a manufacturing company.

  • MBO+ technical knowledge through school or experience.

  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.

  • Strong problem-solving mindset.

  • Ability to define priorities based on impact.

  • Understanding of technical documentation and applicable standards.

Preferred competences:

General:

  • Read technical drawings

Manufacturing:

  • Machining

  • Electro Mechanical

  • Injection Molding

System Assembly:

  • Cleanroom Cabinets Assembly

  • Cleanroom Advanced Packaging

PCBA:

  • SMD

  • CAL & CPP
