We are Prodrive Technologies – Embedded Computing Systems

Our computing systems are the backbone of cutting-edge applications, delivering performance and reliability where it matters most. Leveraging the latest x86, ARM, and FPGA technologies, we design advanced solutions that power image-processing inspection systems with AI acceleration and real-time computation. Our expertise extends into industrial IoT and automation, driving innovation across semiconductor equipment, medical devices, smart agriculture, and maritime applications.

We offer a complete product range to meet diverse needs: single-board computers for embedded control, standalone industrial PCs for edge computing, and rack-level integration including GPU servers, high-speed, low-latency networking and storage for high-performance environments. Our solutions enable scalability and flexibility for any application.

About the role

Working closely with software architects, engineers, and multidisciplinary project teams, you will design, implement, and validate application software based on functional requirements and architectural specifications. You will work across the full software stack, developing user-facing functionality in Elm and reliable, high-performance backend services in Rust.

This setup provides short communication lines, broad responsibilities, and significant ownership, allowing you to influence technical decisions and see the direct impact of your work on the management and operation of high-end computing systems. You will operate in a challenging, high-tech environment where software, electronics, and mechanics come together to create innovative products and systems. The other responsibilities are:

  • Taking full ownership of software features and subsystems, leading all phases from requirements analysis and design to implementation, testing, and validation, with particular attention to user interaction and usability.

  • Designing, implementing and testing APIs and interfaces between software components, services, and underlying hardware.

  • Contributing to the evolution of a common software platform that can be reused across multiple products.

  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, architecture, and technical standards.

  • Collaborating with software, electronics, and system engineers to define, implement and validate integrated solutions.

  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex software and system-level issues across both the application layer and the underlying platform.

What we offer

  • Performance-based salary growth that rewards your results

  • 33 vacation days per year, including public holidays

  • Flexible working hours

  • Time-for-time compensation when working extra hours

  • Strong focus on personal development, supported by a tailored growth and learning plan

  • Extensive career opportunities, with progression across a wide range of functions and projects

  • A young, entrepreneurial, and innovative company culture where initiative is encouraged

  • Free access to the company gym

  • Free lunch, dinner and healthy snacks available every day on-site

What you bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Embedded Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • 5+ years of software development experience in complex technical environments, including at least 3 years of full-stack development experience.

  • Strong programming skills in Rust, C and Python.

  • Preferably experience with Elm.

  • Experience developing applications and services on Linux.

  • Experience building both front-end and back-end software systems.

  • Experience with software architecture, RESTful API design, and communication between front-end and backend components.
