About the role:

We are searching for a hands-on, improvement-driven Manufacturing Engineer. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in shaping the efficiency and quality of our production process. You will be responsible for continuous improvement in our high-tech environment, where we assemble highly complicated products in a cleanroom environment. Additionally, you will collaborate with our Research and Development (R&D) team to enhance the technical aspects of our products and ensure seamless integration of New Product Introductions (NPI) into the production process. 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Monitor and analyze trends on the production floor 

  • Lead and coordinate continuous improvement initiatives on the production floor.  

  • Drive major improvement projects within the department to enhance Safet, Costs and Quality.  

  • Collaborate with the R&D department to improve product designs for manufacturability.  

  • Actively participate in New Product Introductions (NPI), ensuring smooth transitions and efficient production processes.  

  • Be present on the floor daily, engaging with production teams to implement practical solutions.  

  • Apply project management skills to ensure improvement projects are completed effectively.

What you bring:

  • Hands-on and proactive approach to problem-solving in a manufacturing environment.  

  • Strong continuous improvement mindset, with experience in process optimization.  

  • Knowledge of statistical techniques and quality control methods such as, process capability analysis, Six Sigma, capacity analysis, Overall Equipment Effectiveness, Failure Mode Effects Analysis, Plan Do Check Act etc.  

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, and Industrial preferred).  

  • 2+ years of demonstrated experience in the field of Manufacturing Engineering.  

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred, with experience applying Lean principles in a production setting.  

  • Experience working in a high-tech environment is a plus.  

  • Project management skills, with the ability to coordinate stakeholders and ensure project success.  

  • Comfortable with being present on the production floor and working closely with production and R&D teams.  

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).
