About the role
As Supplier Account Lead, you are responsible for developing and maintaining strategic relationships with suppliers while ensuring optimal supplier performance and supply continuity. You act as the primary escalation point for supplier-related challenges, lead a team of Supply Coordinators, and drive initiatives to improve supplier performance, operational effectiveness, and supply chain resilience.
You translate organizational objectives into tactical and operational actions and play a key role in managing critical supplier relationships that directly impact business performance.
Key responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong strategic relationships with key suppliers
Act as the primary escalation point for supplier-related issues and risks
Conduct supplier performance reviews and define improvement plans
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supplier base and supply chain processes
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Supply Coordinators
Translate department goals into actionable priorities and daily execution
Monitor supplier quality, delivery reliability, responsiveness, and overall performance
Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies
Analyze complex supplier and operational data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and long-term improvement opportunities
Collaborate closely with Procurement, Operations, Planning, Quality, and Engineering teams
Negotiate with suppliers on performance, commitments, issue resolution, and long-term collaboration strategies
Contribute to the development of sourcing and supplier management strategies
Ensure business continuity through effective supplier governance and stakeholder management.

What you bring
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field
7+ years of relevant experience in supplier management, sourcing, supply chain, procurement, or operations within a high-tech manufacturing environment
Proven experience managing strategic supplier relationships
Experience leading and developing teams
Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to connect information from multiple sources and translate insights into actions
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to balance different interests
Experience driving supplier performance and continuous improvement initiatives
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and complex international environment
Strong sense of ownership, initiative, and accountability.
